Biography

René Staud

René Staud, born in Stuttgart in 1951, has been working as a photographer for several decades. He has been fascinated by photography since the age of 12. His desire to produce original work quickly led him to become one of the most important automotive photographers in Germany, working with some of the biggest brands in the industry such as Mercedes, Porsche and Aston Martin. He lives in Leonberg near Stuttgart.

Jürgen Lewandowski

After studying German and English, Jürgen Lewandowski was head of the technology department at the magazine hobby and then head of the ‘Car and Transport’ department at the Süddeutsche Zeitung. He has been working as an author and correspondent for various publications worldwide for several years. Lewandowski has initiated, written and edited around 90 books on the history of the automobile and the development of new model series. He lives in Munich.
