This complete, official retrospective, designed by acclaimed book designer Irma Boom in close collaboration with Jil Sander, is destined to become a coveted collector’s item. For decades, Sander’s name has been synonymous with minimalist elegance—her designs defined by the philosophy of less is more, using the highest quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship to achieve poetic purity. This beautifully produced book, crafted with the same impeccable attention to detail as Sander’s clothing, provides unparalleled access to her remarkable journey as a designer and international businesswoman. Rich in archival material and rare insights into the life of its famously private subject, the book traces Sander’s rise from her start in the 1960s to her establishment as a visionary designer, unphased by fleeting trends. This elegant, limited-edition set features a premium clamshell box designed by Boom, fold-out plates, printed foils, and a glossy jacket. It also includes a numbered art print of Sander’s iconic Francesco Scavullo portrait, signed by Jil Sander herself—a timeless celebration of integrity, style, and vision.
